Admitted as a solicitor in 1971 and practised in the area of South London until his move to Dorset in 1990. He joined Douglas Redfern in partnership in 1992. John undertakes all types of work for his Clients and is experienced in many areas of Law. Currently, he has developed particular expertise in the complex area of Landlord and Tenant and Commercial Law.

Admitted as a solicitor in 1988 he worked in Cardiff for a large city firm where he developed a particular interest in Family Law. He moved to Dorset in 1992 and further developed his expertise in Family Work. He has acquired over 15 years experience specialising in Family Law. Damian joined the firm in 2004. He is a member of the Children Panel and Family Panel (Advanced). He is also an Accredited Resolution Specialist.

Admitted as a solicitor in 1958, he has practised in London and, since 1963 in Dorset. He has a wide experience in many areas of the law but now, semi-retired, specialises in Wills and Trusts and acts as an adviser to the Partners.

Linda has lived locally all her life and was one of the firms original members of staff when our Portland office opened in 1995. She has worked in a legal practice for 28 years and has over 20 years experience in conveyancing. Since 2006 she has lead the residential conveyancing department based at our Weymouth office.

Georgina was admitted as a Fellow to the Institute of Legal Executives in 2002 and went on to be admitted as a Solicitor in 2006. She has worked in the legal profession (in the Weymouth and Portland area) for the last 14 years and is local to Portland. Georgina recently joined this firm in June 2010, bringing with her expertise in all aspects of Family Law work. She continues to provide a friendly and efficient service to her clients in matters of divorce (including the financial side of a marriage breakdown), disputes involving unmarried couples, matters relating to children and domestic abuse.
