The definition of domestic abuse is:
- Physical abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Verbal abuse including threats
- Psychological/Emotional abuse
- Financial control
- Harassment/pestering
Emergency Legal Aid is available for emergency cases. Where possible, given the circumstances of the case, we can secure protection for you on the same day as receiving initial instructions.

Emergency Protection Proceedings: a legal procedure whereby a child is removed from its' parents care by either the Police or the Local Authority on the basis that not to do so would place the child at risk of suffering significant harm.
