There is a great deal of work involved in property transactions to ensure that you are legally protected and we will advise and help you with each step of that process from initial offer to getting the keys or from initial agreed sale to the money in the Bank.
We will keep you informed of progress along the way and explain what we are doing and why. We will answer any questions you may have as we go along.
You will have the personal attention of an experienced Conveyancer throughout the whole matter and the Conveyancer will be backed up by experienced and helpful secretarial support.
We will deal with all post-completion formalities to perfect your Title to the property if we are acting on a purchase.
After completion we can keep all of your important documents in safe custody if you wish for no charge.
We aim to make the property transaction as quick and easy as possible.

Sales
If money is transferred electronically - to your lender on redemption - or to you there is a Bank fee of £23.50 for each one.There may be some additional payments which have to be made on your behalf in connection with the sale and they could be:
Copies of missing planning permissions, building regulation approval, guarantees and the like - cost is unlikely to exceed £30.
In Leasehold cases a fee to Freeholders or Managing Agents to provide information - average £100.
If there should be a defect in your Title or there is no appropriate planning permission building regulation or the like you may have to provide an insurance policy to your purchaser - average premium £150.

You will also be liable for the following payments which Redferns will make on your behalf. They vary in accordance with the purchase price.

In almost all cases we will have to put in hand a Local Search which is formal enquiries of the Council about matters affecting the property and a Drainage Search which gives detailed information about drain and water services and the costs are as follows:

Title: A collection of rights of ownership that are defined or recognized by law that could be successfully defended in a court.
